John “Shaheed” Jackson - Creator, Writer, Director, Producer of "The Amaze Stu"

He was told, "If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it." John "Shaheed" Jackson is living proof of that very statement. Born in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1970, Shaheed has accomplished many of his goals he set in front of himself. He began his career in the entertainment field as a party disc jockey at the age of 12. By the age of 16 he was a DJ, DJ Blade, for a young up and coming rap group, The Def Kali. A year later he decided he wanted to rap for a living signing to VU Records/Metroplex Records out of Detroit with Speech of Arrested Development, he quickly became the hottest rapper on the newly formed label. He toured in the northern states with several big named rappers from the late 1980’s.

In 1990, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia and attended Morris Brown College, majoring in commercial arts. With the music and entertainment bug still stinging, Shaheed entered a new self-appointed challenge of producing music tracks for many local artists. He eventually founded Black Party Control Production Company under which he produced many successful projects stemming from rock 'n' roll to neo-soul. By the age of 25, he decided to leave the music production behind to start a family. The birth of his second child opened a new territory for Shaheed. As he filmed his family, he discovered a passion that led to video production and writing.

Shaheed formed Madd Cam-Fusion Entertainment Group LLC, a video production company. He has written several screenplays, produced and directed music videos, concerts, and athletic events for local artists. In 2008, he wrote, produced, and directed two television pilots.

Currently, Rising Nile Productions, a Cannes film festival participant, commissioned Shaheed to write and direct a psychological thriller set for production in 2011 entitled "Ponders of Recrimination."  He continues to write and develop for film and television. Shaheed is a multi-talented, self-motivated artist. His 100 percent focus and love for film and television writing/production has fueled a fire full of passion driven by the yearning for bringing his talents to a place that will be appreciated by all. The future is going to be an exceptional one for the young man from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The challenge is in front of him, so stand back!

YUSUF MUHAMMAD: - Yusef Muhammad Producer

Written In The Stars...And Signed By Destiny…

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, if so then the picture that is the reflection of the life of television/production guru to the stars Yusuf Muhammad is priceless.

Yusuf’s “let’s make it happen” approach earned him the respect of his contemporaries, moving him to music videos, commercials, T.V., Feature Films, and documentaries.  Traveling between New York, Atlanta, and all over the world, Yusuf produced projects for Bank of America, Keri Hilson, MTV, Kanye West, Mary J. Blige, Ryan Leslie and Ciara, Outkast, NAS, T.I., United Arab Emirates, Elle Varner, Usher and Akon, whose video “Locked Up”, was nominated for an MTV Music Video Award in 2005... The man behind many great works we love is currently producing an array of film projects including The Long Road Back and Rock with the Hot 8…

But how did this amazing picture come to be?

Mr. Muhammad has taken every negative in his life and developed them into beautiful reflections of creativity and prosperity.  The portrait that was painted for a young child growing up in Roxboro, NC was one that reflected divorce and was one that would take the young child from his native roots, to find himself in the unfamiliar settings of Brooklyn. Yusuf, being the prodigal talent that he was, took all that he knew and would create an environment for himself that would allow him to be a people magnet wherever he took root, having a better energy than most around him; young yuuf was a standout wherever he was. As he matured, Yusuf would find himself in Senegal, where he would study abroad and gain newfound wisdom, become familiar with new cultures/religions and an experience that would take his talents and creativity to extraordinary heights

Since entering the film industry, Producer Yusuf Muhammad has been on the top of every major media network that’s he’s had the opportunity to engage.  Yusuf’s career jumpstarted in production while pursing a degree at Westville State College in Massachusetts.  Recognizing his people skills, Yusuf would write and produce numerous On Campus Radio Shows until his sophomore year. Yusuf rapidly transitioned into producing short films, and at the age 23 AND would gain hands on experience hands working as 3rd grip for many credible projects AND would work as a On Set Production Assistant on Studio Feature Films. (Boycott, Selma Lord Selma, Tyler Perry “Madea’s family reunion”, A.T.L) Also Worked as a On Set Production Assistant on Episodic T.V (Law & Order, ED, T.V).The work of Yusuf Muhammad is extraordinary and can be seen on many sites. Yusuf Muhammad…A DREAM FULFILLED…
